Tasks
The main responsibilities of the Pomeranian Centre for Regional Surveys include:
- carrying out the Office's publishing activities, including:
- preparing current and periodic publications, analyses and information on the socio-economic situation of the Voivodship, as well as its powiats and gminas, in accordance with the Office's publishing programme;
- preparing analytical, overview, promotional and occasional publications and information, including those developed in cooperation with local government
- cooperating with government administration bodies, local government units, research institutions and other organisations in the Voivodship on issues of regional importance and in response to current regional
- information needs and interests, including participation in joint publishing and research projects;
- providing information services for local media;
- promoting the information resources of official statistics, including conducting educational activities for children and youth, students, and representatives of local authorities;
- promoting the activities of the Office, including new official statistics products, statistical surveys, publications issued by the Office and Statistics Poland, as well as information about the region, through the Office's website and social media (Facebook and X);
- maintaining the Office's website and Public Information Bulletin (BIP).
