The Statistical Office in Gdańsk carries out tasks in the field of official statistics, particularly in the areas of education and human capital statistics, working conditions, economic activity of the population, and dissemination of statistical information.The Office is also responsible for preparing statistical analyses and publications on the socio-economic situation of Pomorskie Voivodship, maintaining the official REGON and TERYT registers, and conducting statistical surveys among the residents of Pomorskie Voivodship. In addition, the Office undertakes activities aimed at promoting official statistics and raising public awareness of official statistics. It cooperates with numerous regional stakeholders and carries out educational initiatives for school pupils, students, and local government officials.
